Perfluorohexanone (FK 5-1-12) | Next Generation SF6 Alternative - Yuji America Corp - Fluorine Chemicals-Yuji America Corp – Fluorine Chemicals

Perfluorohexanone

Perfluorohexanone is a new type of insulating material used to replace SF6 gas in the power industry. It features the same insulation and arc-extinguishing performance as SF6 gas and has a low greenhouse effect index. Perfluorohexanone is a non-flammable, low ODP, low GWP, with high dielectric strength making it suitable for medium and high voltage power equipment. It has good compatibility with materials in switch gears, low toxicity, and no flash point.
